Robert Pires To Do A Campbell? Or Is It More Of A David Beckham

Today, the only invincible in any Arsenal fans mind is the mighty Didier Drogba. Considering that the Ivory Coast captain and Chelsea front man has buried 13 goals in the last 12 matches against Arsenal, it is easy to understand the genesis of that title. In contrast, the last time North London held the air of invincibility was back in 2003/2004 season.

 Then, Arsenal was "The Pride of London". But things have indeed changed.If you were there at Stamford bridge on Sun the 3rd October,you must have noticed the huge banner that indicated the shift of power from North to West London. Watching on television, camera crew made sure that the message was beamed live across the world soon after Alex thumped in his free kick from 36 yards out to kill off the game for Arsenal with 5 mins remaining on the clock

It was the second goal of the match, both goals were credited to Chelsea. You don't need to guess who had scored the first. I agree with Arsene when he says that the result was cruel to his boys considering the posesion ; vigour and style that they played with. I also agree that uncharachteristicaly for Arsenal, there was simply no cutting edge. The chances presented themselves at a higher rate than Chelsea's, but they simply weren't taken.
