Suarez to Arsenal, Is it all a cock fight?
40,000,001 is the reported second bid by Arsenal for Suarez. In any worthwhile currency ,I suppose, that amount is astronomical.
Predictably, Liverpool have spat at the tens of millions, if that now infamous, twitter update by Liverpool's principal owner is to be believed.
Going by Alibaba and as informed by a swahili proverb; 'siku za mwizi ni arubaini' . A thief's days number to fourty, 40 is a magical number.
If fourty is mortal number, why else would the systems fail for a man of John W. Henry caliber? A man who's PR ought be so well managed, to spew such vile on twitter? Must be some serious virus
The scenarios:
1. Why would Liverpool in the face of such Champions League winner -esque money, hold on to such a 'vermin' as want-away- Suarez?
Football or monetary considerations in play for Liverpool? My take is that it's the latter. Why else would Liverpool's owner jibe at Arsenal.
2. There is some serious ish up in Ivan's office. Whatever is being smoked at the Emirates ought be passed around. Arsenal bidding 40mil!?! + ?
Could mean only one thing: Arsenal has a sugar daddy. It's not Usmanov as you would imagine. It actually is the bespectaled french unknown who took over the reins in the mid nineties. Yes in a twisted conspirated way, more upside down and jungled up than a family tree, we spat on the very rules that we today serve as poster boys for: FFP. Arsenal were first to predict what the Bosman ruling meant to the rules of supply and demand--add to bag the great depression of the 21st century-For that, we recruited an economist as a manager. Why else would Roma be willing to pay 7mil for Gervinho?
3. The cheeky Arsenal bid for Suarez --£1 above the trigger clause--is our longed for ride on the high horse.
Granted, in defining itself as a brand over the recent unfruitful past, Arsenal under Arsene Wenger has moulded itself alongside the fabled American dream. With Thierry Henry, Pires, Fabregas, Nasri, Van Persie, Song, Adebayoe, Hleb, Flamini, A. Cole, Lauren,Toure etc We have demonstrated that everyone needs a second, third, fourth...chance. What they did once they were onto the holy grail, is entirely a different matter.
Suarez to Arsenal and subsequent 'rehabilitation' represents the next step in this all inclusive Arsenal brand. The reason for such a diversity in fans from you and me, to Piers Morgan, to the running man of Vietnam to the unfortunate Kenyan,R.I.P, who opted out following a Ronaldo inspired Manchester United demolition of Arsenal in the 2009/2010 UEFA Champions league semifinal at the Emirates.
Cock fight, or not?

All fosty up in cloud seven for Arsenal
Another sevener for Arsenal in Vietnam. The unfortunate party was the national team this time, the price you pay for 'kupanua' i.e spreading them out wide;your mother ought taught you better Vietnam. For a striker like Giroud to claim a hat-trick, as many a gooner would rate the French international.
Rate him or not, all indications in the transfer window indicate no Rooney,Higuain or Jovetic. Chelsea not only confirmed their bid, but went ahead to proclaim it's all Rooney or none.
Higuain is Napoli's target from the windfall from Cavani's sale to PSG. Jovetic ought be City's answer to Teves. Fabregas, well, remains Xavi's heir apparent.
The dominos have been tipped and the effect is on. From Higuain to Napoli, Madrid should make a meal of the Suarez move.
With City's aquisition of Negredo,it appears that it's only in Arsenal's case that transfer rumours remain just that; hot air. Worse, Ivan and Wenger's big coffers are simsim compared to the big nuts of it's competitors.
Chelsea's war chest had been dedicated to Rooney.Napoli have, according to their president, an additional sixty mil plus the Cavani lottery. It could be a face saving proclamation for the Italian side as signing three players from Madrid (callejon and possibly albiol and higuain) in the same window would be a prescedent of no little measure.
If you were stalling on what name to print behind that retro yellow away jersey, better inform the printer to start with that 'G' in that classy font.
