I have been away for way too long. Nothing amiss just the hustle of living in the 21st century. Plenty has come to pass in those few weeks. Some the usual - Arsenal failing when it matters most. Some the delightful- like Eboue's thump of a goal over the weekend against Blackpool. Some fit to quench the thirst of the curious- like Lehman between the posts after hanging his gloves a while back.
While some make you go "wait a minute"- like Wenger's description of the beautiful tragedy of the 2010/11 season, expressing his bemusement at the criticism thrown at the young Arsenal side while in his books coming second in the title race and consistent participation in the Champions League worthy achievements.
All in all, the biggest scoop of them all was the acquisition of Arsenal football club by American sports magnate Stan Kroenke that rightfully overshadowed Lebron Jame's acquisition of a stake in the other sleeping giant of English football Liverpool Fc.

Last night, reality finally sunk in for the White Lillies following their second leg Champions league quater final 1-0 loss at home that made it 5 nil on aggregate to the special one's galacticos reloaded. Focus now shifts to trying to finish fourth which makes the tie at White Hart lane next Wednesday one to look forward to. This makes me think that just maybe Wenger is right after all, but as the Frenchman offers, another ten years should pass before such a conclusion can be made...
